For years I sat down at a desk all day at my office job. It didn’t feel a healthy way for me to spend the day and now I know that it was doing me a lot of harm.
There is a lot of evidence out there that shows too much sitting down can be very, very bad for your health.
As human beings we have not evolved to sit down slumped at a desk all day. Our bodies are built to be active. On a primary level we are built to run and hunt.
Since I switched to a standing desk I have never felt better.
